In the Astra world, the Customizer

In the Astra world, the Customizer and the Site Builder are like a "Global Remote Control" vs. a "Surgical Scalpel." Since you are using Elementor, knowing the difference is key so you don't waste time looking for settings in the wrong place. 1. The Customizer (Appearance > Customize) The Customizer is for Global Rules. Anything you change here applies to the entire website automatically. Best for: Setting your main logo, choosing your brand colors (blue, green, etc.), and picking your site-wide fonts. The "Skeleton": It controls the Header (the menu at the top) and the Footer (the credits at the bottom). Elementor Relation: Elementor "listens" to the Customizer. If you change your global font to Arial in the Customizer, Elementor will use Arial unless you manually change it inside a specific widget. 2. The Site Builder (Astra Pro Feature) The Site Builder is a more advanced, Visual Dashboard (introduced in Astra 4.5) that allows you to create custom "Parts" of your site that replace the standard theme parts. Best for: Creating a specific Header just for your "Skardu" page, or a custom "404 Error" page, or a special sidebar that only shows up on Blog posts. Conditional Logic: It lets you say, "Show this specific design ONLY to logged-in users" or "Show this footer ONLY on mobile." The "Visual Map": It gives you a birds-eye view of all the custom layouts you've built across your site in one place.
